William H. Conner, PresidentRetired MSgt, AZANG. Mr. Conner has been a partner in MedTek Solutions Inc, an IT consultancy to the Medical Industry, for over 20 years. He has been a volunteer with the Veterans Furniture Center for 4+ years, and Vice President since 2016. Bill has overall operational responsibility for the Veterans Furniture Center. In addition, he regularly works side by side with the volunteers, delivering furniture and household goods the veterans in need.

William Garling, Vice-PresidentBill is a US Army veteran and a retired Construction Superintendent. He loves the outdoors, is an avid hiker, and is currently the Vice President of a local hiking club. Since his retirement in 2012, he has been actively involved in supporting veteran charities and support groups. He has been a regular volunteer at the Veterans Furniture Center for the past five years. In addition to his duties on the Board of Directors, he regularly works side by side with the volunteers, assembling and repairing furniture and delivering furniture and household goods to the veterans in need.

Walter F. Schumacher, TreasurerRetired U.S. Amy Major. He has a B.S. Business from the University of Kansas. After retirement from the Service, he worked as a federal bank examiner, civilian helicopter pilot and furniture factory manager. Walter retired after 11 years serving as the Production Manager for AmSafe Inc. Butch is responsible for overall financial management of the Veterans Furniture Center. In addition, he regularly works side by side with the volunteers, delivering furniture and household goods the veterans in need.

Robert S. Alford, DirectorUS Army veteran. Bob is a retired High Technology Business Executive. He was the founder and Senior Executive Officer of several successful high-technology startup companies. He also served as an independent business consultant to investment bankers, venture capitalists, and large corporations in the area of mergers and acquisitions. He is a former Senior Member of the Corporate Staff of General Electric. In 2001 he was presented with the Microsoft Windows World Open Award for Retail Product of the Year by Bill Gates.

Jerry Comer, DirectorUS Marine and Vietnam veteran. Jerry has a degree from Youngstown State University in Criminal Justice and was a police officer in Ohio. He later moved to Arizona where he worked for and retired from Arizona Public Service. While working at APS he conducted investigations for their Corporate Security Department and also worked as a Human Resource Consultant specializing in Employee and Labor Relations. He has also performed volunteer mediation work for the Community Relations Department at Arizona Attorney General's Office.
