A heartfelt thank you goes out to our friends at Willowbrook UMC. On January 11th and 12th, they kicked off their first ever "Pillow Project". It was a major success. The donation drive collected 137 new pillows and enough funding to purchase an additional 150 pillows and pillow cases.
We sometimes take for granted things we have in everyday life, but this act of kindness will have a huge impact on 287 veterans who may have recently used a box, newspaper or a park bench to rest their head.
